Virginia Satir was a noted American author and psychotherapist, known especially for her approach to family therapy. She had this to say about the subject of communication: "Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible -- the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family."
Our Lindenwald congregation is a family and communication is no less important for our church family than it is for our own. This message board is for real, authentic communication. The only rules are that we respect each other's opinions and no profanity allowed!
