Feeding the Body & Soul

Jesus said, "Then the King will say to those on the right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.' Then these righteous ones will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?' And the King will tell them, 'I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'" Matthew 25:34-40 (NIV)

Feeding the Body & Soul  offers a free meal to those who may be hungry and have no food. This meal is free and open to the public and will be served on the third Saturday of each month from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. If transportation is an issue and you live within the limits of Butler County, Ohio, we will arrange to have our church van pick you up and take you home. For further information about this program email Bruce.

Also, during the Body & Soul Dinners, our food pantry (located in the Resource Room) is open and staffed by volunteers. Pantry items are always needed - if you'd like to help keep our pantry well-stocked, it will be much appreciated. A list of pantry items needed can be found below.
