Outreach is an effort by Lindenwald United Methodist Church to connect with other organizations, groups, or the general public in order to show the love of God and to help with specific needs.
Our outreach ministries include the Body & Soul Free Community Meal held on the third Saturday of each month, the Prayer Drive Thru which is on the first Friday of each month, and Treat Street (a Fall Celebration) held in October.

DID YOU KNOW . . .
Historians believe a grove of linden trees north of Belle Avenue inspired the name of the village of Lindenwald in the 1850s.
The owner of the land, Joseph Davis, sold parcels with the advent of the development of the Cincinnati, Hamilton and Dayton Railroad and the little community south of Hamilton was platted. It became a stop on that railroad and home to a power house for Hamilton street cars and interurban lines.
Pleasant Avenue, which is still home to the business district, was once a street car route. Old street car tracks are still visible on Williams Avenue beside the former Shuler & Benninghofen plant that was moved to Lindenwald in 1894.
The village was annexed into the city of Hamilton in 1908.
