A Word From Our Pastor

Rev. Valerie Waibel

We are pleased that you chose to visit our website. Lindenwald United Methodist Church exists to make disciples, and we talk about this process using three words: win, equip, send. We believe that we are to win people to Jesus Christ, to equip them in ministry, and then to send them out in ministry to our community and world. We believe God's vision for us is that Lindenwald United Methodist Church will always be a place where persons may experience wholeness, growth, courage and a vital spirituality in order to transform the world.

Sit back, relax, and browse through our site as your learn more about us. You'll even be able to listen to our weekly messages, if you'd like. Our prayer is that our web site will be a helpful one and an inspiring one as we are all transformed through the power of God's Holy Spirit.

"I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8

NEW BETH MOORE BIBLE STUDY SERIES STARTS
JUNE 18 - 10:00 AM

The Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study group invites you to join them as they begin a new  session on Thursday, June 18. They will begin the Beth Moore's study, Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent. This series
is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope, and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Explore the major feasts of Israel and journey with Beth through Psalms 120-134 in this 7-session study. Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. This Bible study meets at 10 am each Thursday morning in the church parlor. For further information, contact the church office at 863-8822.
